Cooking Time: 15 Minutes
1-pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces
¼ –½ pound broccoli, cut into florets (1–2 cups)
½ medium onion, cut into thick slices
3 tablespoons olive oil or grape seed oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons hot sauce (optional)
½ teaspoon sea salt, or to taste Black pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Combine the oil, garlic powder, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, optional spicy sauce, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Put the chicken in a separate bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the broccoli and onions. Divide the marinade between the two bowls and toss to evenly coat each. Install a crisper plate into both drawers.
Place the broccoli in the zone 1 drawer, then insert the drawer into the unit. Place the chicken breasts in the zone 2 drawer, then insert the drawer into the unit.
Select zone 1, select AIR FRY, set temperature to 390 degrees F/ 200 degrees C, and set time to 10 minutes. Select zone 2, select AIR FRY, set temperature to 390 degrees F/ 200 degrees C, and set time to 20 minutes. Select SYNC.
Press the START/STOP button to begin cooking. When zone 2 time reaches 9 minutes, press START/STOP to pause the unit. Remove the drawer and toss the chicken.
Re-insert the drawer into the unit and press START/STOP to resume cooking. When cooking is complete, serve the chicken breasts and broccoli while still hot.
Add additional salt and pepper to taste. Squeeze optional fresh lemon juice on top and serve warm.
