Balsamic Steak Tips With Roasted Asparagus And Mushroom Medley

Ingredients:
FOR THE STEAK TIPS
1½ pounds sirloin tips
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon minced garlic
FOR THE ASPARAGUS AND MUSHROOMS
6 ounces sliced cremini mushrooms
1 small red onion, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound asparagus, tough ends trimmed
⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
Directions:
To prep the steak tips:
In a large bowl, combine the sirloin tips, oil, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, rosemary, and garlic. Mix well to coat the steak.
To prep the mushrooms:
In a large bowl, combine the mushrooms, onion, and oil.
To cook the steak and vegetables:
Install a crisper plate in each of the two baskets.
Shake any excess marinade from the steak tips, place the steak in the Zone 1 basket, and insert the basket in the unit. Place the mushrooms and onions in the Zone 2 basket and insert the basket in the unit.
Select Zone 1, select AIR FRY, set the temperature to 400°F, and set the time to 12 minutes. Select Zone 2, select ROAST, set the temperature to 400°F, and set the time to 25 minutes.
Select SMART FINISH. Press START/PAUSE to begin cooking. When the Zone 2 timer reads 10 minutes, press START/PAUSE.
Remove the basket, add the asparagus to the mushrooms and onion, and sprinkle with salt. Reinsert the basket and press START/PAUSE to resume cooking.
When cooking is complete, the beef should be cooked to your liking and the asparagus crisp-tender. Serve warm.
